"Dear Frank,

I just used your product for the first time and found it to be surprisingly effective. I am not new to racing, but have been slumping lately. I do have some questions.

1. Is picking the top contenders in race merely a matter of adding up the Betting situations and going with the highest totals, or are there some situations that are more meaningful than others. To pick contenders simply based on the highest scores seems somewhat simplistic. No offense intended as KISS is my motto in life.

2. I'm having trouble with the conditions situation, for instance, is a maiden dropping from MSW a CO or a DC or both?

3. Its hard for me to assign backclass to Maidens in 3 and up races for older horses that haven't won. And back on conditions, would it be safe to say that a 3yo Maiden fits MCL conditions better than older Maidens? There is so much more, but I sort of just skip around in the book (I think that is really the way you intended it to be read).

My first use success story is the 6th race at Calder yesterday. The 2 favorites and ML 6/1 choice really stood out from the rest of the herd in terms of betting situations. I bet one of the faves to win and boxed the 3 horses in the trifecta. The inner paid 4.80 and the tri paid 47.40. Not the juiciest payoff ever, but maybe the easiest tri-bet I ever made.
